Ocean City, MD Air Show Kicks Off 10 Year Wedding Anniversay Vacation

Saturday, June 14th Mr. DePaul and I headed to Ocean City, MD for our 10 year wedding anniversary vacation. Once we arrived, we were treated to a nice surprise: Ocean City, MD was hosting the return of U.S. Military team air show this weekend.

You all know how much I love strong heroes. How about the show kicking off with a Navy Seal team parachuting out of a bomber to land on the beach in front of me! NICE!!!!

Once those boys were safely on the ground then the airplane and jet show started. It was loud. It was crazy. It was nail-biting. It was AWESOME!

I won’t bore you with all the details. Instead, below are some photos of the some of the types of aircraft that showed off their agility and coordination.

Okay, so I lied for a second. I have to talk about this picture below. This is a US Marine Corp AV-8V Harrier jet. Not only can it fly at 600 miles per hour but it can HOVER and BACK UP!

There were a few more planes that showed off during the show but I didn’t capture their images. I had a lot of fun and loved the fact that it was a free event right off the Boardwalk.

Sincerely,

P.A. DePaul
