That said, in the case of the SBG series, you may want to read them in order if you’re interested in seeing the characters grow and interact from the beginning. Choice is yours, though!

Don’t put extra pressure on yourself, envisioning someone else reading it. Write that first draft from beginning to end. Let it be horrible. That’s okay. Editing can fix what doesn’t work.
